Education reform to prepare our students for the future
Providing the best environment and educational opportunities possible allows our children to learn the skills necessary to prepare for the workforce of tomorrow and achieve and exceed their goals. Paul knows that for Haverhill to thrive, investing in our children is essential.
As your School Committee representative, Paul will propose education reform that:
- Focuses on teachers and classroom learning.
- Requires social workers in our schools to engage with parents and students to help combat mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Provides professional development to help identify abuse and reduce the dropout rate.
- Fosters a learning environment to teach real world skills through cooperation among high schools, businesses community groups, vocational schools, and community colleges.
